About Program
Chemistry is an extremely fascinating and essential discipline within science. The knowledge of Chemistry is required for every aspect of technological growth. As a result, there is always an increasing demand for graduates with a background to work in a variety of public and private sector industries as quality control employees, production managers, and in research laboratories. Chemistry is sometimes referred to as the central Science since it integrates the domains of Physics, Mathematics, Biology Medicine, and environmental sciences.
Chemistry is taught at DIT University through degree-level courses for both Undergraduate and graduate students. Students are given a thorough understanding of the importance of Chemistry in their daily lives.
The Department of Chemistry offers two undergraduate programs in Chemistry, namely, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Chemistry – a three-year program, and B.Sc. (Hons)/ B.Sc. (Hons) with Research – a four-year program.
