  • About Program

    The program consists of newly designed under-graduate courses with emphasis on computational Mathematics. There are courses in Computer Programming and Statistical Analysis in addition to Mathematics. It is much better than a normal B Sc program offered by many colleges/universities. Emphasis on hands-on learning and statistical courses increases employment opportunities. Mathematical formulations of real life problems and their solutions are studies in the program. It is best suited for the students desirous to pursue higher studies and research in their future career.

Duration & Eligibility

BSc (Hons) – 3 Years

Minimum 50% aggregate marks in XII Std. or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/ University/ Council with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as Mandatory Subjects.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1 Develops the skills to qualify entrance exam conducted by IIT’s/Universities to pursue PG and Integrated Ph. D and will shine as great Mathematicians.
PEO2 Develops confidence to appear for SSC (CGL), IBPS, RRB and Civil services exam and will occupy higher posts in administrative level.
PEO3 Program prepare the graduates in advance to appear for TRB after completing B.Ed and become a dedicated faculty.
PEO4 Program develops teaching skills, Subject knowledge in the course of their study which will help them to shine in various fields including Education, IT, etc.
PEO5 Program gives a platform to graduates to use their courses as a training ground and develop their positive attitude, skills which will enable them to become a multi facet personality shining in any chosen field.

PSO1 Students will be able to understand the basic concepts of pure and applied Mathematics, use of statistical and numerical software (MATLAB/ PYTHON etc.) for determining numerical solutions.
PSO2 Students will be able to develop ways to prepare mathematical models of real life problems and determining solutions.
