B.Sc. (Hons) is an in-depth UG Program where a student build his/her foundation in core computer concepts such as Software Development, Databases, Networking, Programming, Operating Systems, and other emerging technologies.

There exist a broader range of options one can opt for after the completion of the degree such as Higher Education (M.Sc. in Data Science, MCA, M.Tech) or can start his/her professional journey as Software Developer, Data Analyst, Finance Analyst, Business Analyst or can prepare for different Government examinations.

As per the curriculum and industry needs, there are 5 to 6 subjects per semester that are offered in the form of core subjects + electives.

There are several prestigious institutions in India such as IIT Madras, Indian Statistical Institute and others that provide strong academic excellence and research opportunities in the field of Data Science.
