Innovation, Incubation and Startup Policy for Students Faculty and Staff is formed to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among Faculty, Staff, Research scholars, Students of DIT University and Startups from vicinity. This policy will also facilitate Intellectual property ownership management, technology licensing and institutional Startup policy, thus enabling creation of a robust innovation and Start up ecosystem across DIT University.

Intellectual Property Rights Policy (IPR Policy)

DIT University, Dehradun recognizes the importance of innovations, research, and findings translating them into products, processes and services for commercial benefits through Intellectual Property Right (IPR) protection. In order to achieve this, Intellectual Property Rights Policy was formed. It includes proper guidance to faculties, staff, students, scholars, and others on the practices and the rules of DIT University, regarding intellectual property rights (IPR) and obligations which include the nature of intellectual property (IP), its ownership, exploitation, technology transfer and confidentiality requirements.
