    Bio and molecular electronics:Synthesis, Design and Fabrication of molecular (organic and bio-molecules) electronic devices. Understanding the mechanism of transport by theoretical calculations. 2. Fabrication of nanoparticles for AIE luminogens (OLED materials)

  • Brief Profile

    I am working in a burning area of research, Bio/molecular electronics for the past 10 years. The work has been published in very reputed SCI journals in the Q1 category. Most of my research articles are published as First author and Principal Authors. This field of research works at an interface of synthetic organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and electronics.

    I have completed my Ph.D. in molecular electronics from BARC under the guidance of D K Aswal (former, Director of NPL). To explore more in Molecular electronics, I have worked at reputed labs in India (IITB and IISC) and abroad at WIS, Israel which is at fifth position in the world ranking for Research. At WIS, I worked with Prof. David Cahen, who is a pioneer of the field and a key role Scientist for Biomolecular electronics and Photovoltaics. Just after my Ph.D., I have been awarded the Young Scientist Award by DST-SERB in 2014, which allowed me to work as a PI. During my research career, I have been awarded with many awards and fellowships (Ref. CV). I have also Guided M-tech and B-tech Students as Co-PI, during my tenure at IISC. I have active research collaborations with IISC, BARC, WIS, King's College London.

    I have expertise in Porphyrin Synthesis (symmetric and Asymmetric), device fabrication and Characterisation theoretical modeling, etc. I am looking forward to pursuing my career in Bio/molecular electronics, Nanomaterials for Photovoltaics and OLEDs, etc.
