Dr. Vikas Chaurasiya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at DIT University, Dehradun, India. He has completed his B.Sc. in Mathematics from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Ayodhya, UP, in the year 2013. He has completed his M.Sc. in (Applied Mathematics) from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Lucknow, UP, India in the year 2016. He was university gold medallist in M.Sc. He did his Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India in the year 2022. He has cleared Joint CSIR-UGC National eligibility test (NET) held on June and December 2017 and GATE examination held on February 2018. He has awarded with prestigious fellowship of India, DST-INSPIRE Fellowship in the year 2018. He has published 17 research papers at international journals of repute. His area of research are moving boundary problem (Stefan problem}, Mathematical modeling in Heat and Mass Transfer problems and in Numerical methods.
