Ms. Payel Mal is an Assistant Professor in the school if Pharmacy. She received her Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degree in Pharmacology from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi in the year of 2022. She has completed her B.Pharm from BCPSR, West Bengal in 2020. Payel’s interests center upon evaluation of pharmacological activities by natural products, pre-clinical studies, protein-receptor binding, molecular pharmacology particularly epigenetic modifications. Besides natural products she has done her research on photo bio-modulation by using cold laser therapy on rodents. Payel has published a Review Paper in the journal of ESPR, Springer (4.2) with the first authorship. Besides natural product pharmacology, she has also expertise on ELISA and various techniques.
