  • GROUP 1: POWER AND CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEERING


    Members: Prof. Gagan Singh, Dr. S Bhanu Prakash, Mr. Saurabh Awasthi, Dr. Amandeep Sharma, Dr. Parusharamulu Buduma

    The Power and Control System Group of EECE Department has been working in the research area oriented to Power System, Control system and Renewable Engineering for the sustainable growth and development. The focus is on the recent trends related to the field of Power quality, Distributed generation & Protection, Renewable energy penetration, Multi-level Invertors for SPV System, Smart Grid, Hybrid System, Reduction of Higher order Control system using different algorithm’, power electronics etc. The above-mentioned research areas are highly beneficial for the students studying in undergraduate as well as Post graduate programme.

    The research works currently undergoing in the department are as follows:

    • Reduction of Higher order Control System.
    • Identification of fault and its location in a distributed generation system.
    • Super capacitor-based smoothening of PV power generation fluctuations.
    • Enhancement of controllers for wind turbine connected to grid (v) Multi-level Invertors for SPV System.

  • GROUP 2: COMMUNICATION AND MICROWAVE


    Members: Dr. Sonika Singh (LRP), Dr. S.C. Gupta, Dr. Brajlata Chauhan, Dr. Dhruva Chaudhary, Dr. Priyanka Garg,Dr. Gaurav Dhiman, Mr. Saurabh Mishra

    The communication research group is working on the cutting-edge areas of the communication domain like wireless channel modelling and characterization, Wearable antenna and conformal antenna designing and simulation, wireless sensor networks, designing of Protocols for Infrastructure-less networks, leaky wave antenna designing and simulation, OFDM and MIMO technology.

  • GROUP 3: PHOTONIC DEVICES AND BIO SENSORS


    Members: Dr. Kuldeep Chaudhary, Dr. Amrindra Pal, Mr. P.S. Sharma, Mr. Vivek Kumar Gupta

    The research group is working on photonic devices and optical fiber based bio sensor development. The advanced facilities for optical fiber cable surface modification and LSPR based bio sensor development.

    The research group is working on the cutting-edge areas of the development of electric vehicles and related field.
