  • About the Department

    In spite of the global recession in recent times, software industry in India is still performing at its peak and the computer professionals are greatly sought after by the software industries world over. Application-oriented software tools developed by well-known multinationals like IBM , Oracle and others have been increasingly used in almost all industries worldwide resulting in growing demand for students desirous of pursuing a career in industry oriented computer courses. Keeping this in view, the department of CSE has introduced a number of new undergraduate programs in association with IBM and SAP.

  • The primary goal of the department is to provide a global academic summit that touches every aspect of national life to create young & competent professionals. The department came into existence in the year 1998 to cater to the needs of the society regarding graduate and post graduate professionals in the area of CSE. The department has since then witnessed a manifold growth in the size of the vibrant student body.

    The department offers Undergraduate (B.Tech), Postgraduate (M.Tech) and Ph.D programs. The programs are popular amongst the prospective students and have become first choice to be opted for by them. The department offers B.Tech programs with different specializations such as Big Data & and Analytics, Cloud Computing and Virtualization, Cyber Security & Forensics and Internet of Things in collaboration with M/S IBM India and Database Administration & Business Intelligence in collaboration with M/S Oracle. The department have established IBM Emerging Technologies Lab to provide exposure with Professional Software’s. These association plays a major role in provide providing knowledge from the Industry Experts with proven Technical skills in the development of state of the art computational tools. This will enhance the placement prospects for the graduating students in companies and institutions of repute in India and Abroad.

  • The enhanced learning environment of the department attracts students from all over India and provides an ample scope for betterment in education as well as extracurricular activities. Besides these, the department has developed a strong research interests in faculties as well as students in diverse areas of Computer Science & Engineering. Masters and Doctoral candidates are liberally supported either by scholarships or by fellowships. The department is in continuous process of producing talented engineers and leaders to work in various national & multinational companies and institutions. For collaborative programs the expert faculty with specialized skills take up the courses, which are provided by IBM and Oracle.
