The curriculum of this program includes subjects mainly like Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, Design of Machine Elements, Heat Transfer, CAD/CAM, Strength of Materials, Metrology and Inspection & the Industrial Engineering etc. Students also get opportunities to study robotics, automation, and energy-related subjects through electives.
Students get to know about key software programs including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, MATLAB, Robo studio etc. Programming & simulation skills are also covered.

Labs related to thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, manufacturing, CAD/CAM, metrology, materials science, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial automation, Heat transfer, RAC, Materials science are there. Practicals of the students enrolled in mechanical engineering course are performed within these labs.
Yes. The students often undergo industrial tours, workshops, internships & practical projects throughout their coursework. Industrial training or projects also form a part of final year to provide practical exposure.
