Eligibility

  • Passed 10th Class Examination with 55% marks in aggregate from recognized board.
  • Passed 10+2 Examination with 55% marks in aggregate of Physics,Math,English and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.
  • Secured atleast pass in Physics and Math.

Merit Scholarship on the basis of Percentage of marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology /Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship in XII Std. / JEE Score
≥ 90% or 1st Rank Holders of all Boards / JEE Rank Between 1–50,000 50%

  • Online Registration is Mandatory.
  • In addition to above Fee, Rs.10,000/- Admission Fee (Non-Refundable) and Rs. 5,000 Caution Money (Refundable) will be charged at the time of admission.
  • Industrial Tour Fee Rs. 25,000/- (on one semester during entire course duration)
  • All the above Scholarships are applicable only on the Program Tuition Fee.
  • Only one type of scholarship can be given, students can opt for the higher %age of scholarship.
  • Scholarship cannot be more than 100% of Tuition fee.

In B.Tech Computer Science Engineering there are subjects that are related to programming languages such as C, Java, React, PHP, Python, R programming, etc. Apart from the programming languages there are courses that focus on the software development, computer hardware and software, emerging technologies and trends in world of Artificial Intelligence. The core courses that are covered in the curriculum include Data Structures, Database, Operating System, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Computer Networks, Compiler Design, Web Technologies, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Electronics, Computer organization and architecture, etc. Based on the student interest, one can study elective courses such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Server-side Programing, Blockchain Technologies, Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Chip design and technologies, Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, IoT, Android, etc. The students are also exposed to the mathematical subjects such as discrete mathematics, probability and statistics. There are certain core sciences subjects taught to the students such as Engineering Physics and Engineering Chemistry. Based on the specialization chosen by the student there are advanced subjects related to AIML and Robotics, Data Science and Analytics, Full Stack and DevOps, Cyber Security and Privacy, Cloud Computing and Blockchain, IoT and Edge Computing, and Chip Design.

Internships in B.Tech are a choice of a student, not compulsory. Also, DIT University supports students by providing them internships in the IT sectors during their 7th and 8th semesters. Also these students based on their performance can get jobs once the internships are completed.

Yes a student who has completed and earned the degree of B.Tech in IT is eligible to do M.Tech in CSE based on the eligibility criteria of the university/institution.
