The primary purpose of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Technology Integration in Teaching and Learning” was to empower faculty members with the knowledge, skills, and practical strategies necessary to incorporate emerging technologies into their teaching practices effectively. The FDP aimed to:

  • Enhance Digital Competence
  • Promote Innovative Teaching Methods
  • Foster Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Encourage Responsible Use of Technology
  • Facilitate Hands-on Learning
  • Build a Collaborative Community

Through this comprehensive program, the TLC sought to support faculty in adapting to the evolving educational landscape and to ultimately improve the quality of teaching and learning at DIT University.

The Faculty Induction Program was successfully enlightened by the words of Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. G. Raghurama, and other senior leaders of DIT University, in the presence of newly joined faculty members. Prof. Raghurama emphasized the crucial role of UGC regulations and highlighted the importance of innovation and the National Education Policy (NEP) as transformative forces in higher education.

The three-day Faculty Induction Program was systematically organized, wherein academic and non-academic leaders comprehensively outlined the institutional policies and delineated the roles and responsibilities for the newly joined faculty members.

    Faculty Interaction Program with Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of DIT University

The Faculty Interaction Program with the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. G. Raghurama provided an interactive platform for faculty members to gain insights into the institutional vision, mission, and strategic priorities. The Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of academic excellence, research contributions, student-centric teaching, and professional ethics. The session also encouraged open dialogue, allowing faculty members to clarify their queries and align themselves with the broader goals of the University.
