Brief Profile
Dr. Suchi Johari earned her B.Tech. in Information Technology from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, India, in 2012, followed by an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India, in 2015. In recognition of her exemplary academic achievements during her M.Tech., she was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University School of Information, Communication, and Technology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India, in 2023.
Dr. Johari possesses five years of industry experience as a Senior System Engineer, during which she contributed to the development of mobile and web-based applications. In addition, she has accumulated seven years of teaching experience, delivering a wide array of foundational and advanced courses in computer science.
Her primary research interests include mobile and ad hoc networks, vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), detection of deepfake images, videos, and audio, web crawling and indexing, localized area navigation, and cross-domain security. Dr. Johari has authored and co-authored numerous papers published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. She was honoured with the Best Paper Award at the 2015 Annual IEEE India Conference (INDICON) and the Best Researcher Award by ISSN Awards in 2022. Throughout her career, she has received several accolades in recognition of her contributions to both industry and academia.
