    DIT University's esteemed Ph.D. program, designed for both Part-Time and Full-Time candidates, invites applications for the upcoming summer admission in the academic session of 2023-24. To ensure a rigorous selection process, the DIT University Ph.D. Entrance Test (DUET) and a Personal Interview will be conducted offline on the 8th of July, 2023 (Saturday).

    Counseling Details

    Essential Dates:

    • Deadline for Application Submission: 6th July 2023, 5:00 PM (Thursday)
    • DIT University Entrance Test (DUET) for candidates not qualifying GATE/UGC-NET/SLET: 8th July, 2023, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Saturday). The syllabus will adhere to the latest GATE/UGC-NET/SLET syllabus, along with a focus on general and quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and research methodology.
    • Personal Interviews: 8th July 2023, commencing from 2 PM
    • DIT University Entrance Test (DUET) is exempted for the candidates who have qualified National level test such as UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET / GATE / DOE / DST / DBT / NBHM / CUCET / ICCR / ICAR / GPAT /Teacher Fellowship holder or equivalent national examination. They will appear for personal interview directly.
    • Result Declaration : 14th July 2023 (Friday)

    For selected candidates (important deadlines):

    • Last Date for Full Admission Fee Submission: 21st July, 2023 (Friday) (Failure to comply will result in cancellation of candidature.)
    • Reporting at the Dean RnC Office and onboarding at the Registrar’s Office: 25th July, 2023 (Tuesday)
    • Completion of interactions between faculty members and students to determine research domains and Supervisor allocation: 31st July 2023 (Monday)
    • RAC formation and course work allocation: 7th August 2023 (Monday)
    • Coursework mapping at Academia: 9th August 2023 (Wednesday)
    • Commencement of classes: 11th August 2023 (Friday)

    Note:

    • Stipend details will be subject to the regulations outlined in DIT University's Central Policy (subject to availability).
    • Semester fees must be deposited via the Academia portal, and the Admission Offer Letter will provide the necessary Admission ID.

     

    REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

    All registered candidates are requested to upload the following documents on the Admission Portal:

    • Class X Mark sheet & Certificate
    • Class XII Mark sheet & Certificate (in the relevant stream)
    • Government-issued Identity Proof (preferably Aadhar Card)
    • Graduation Mark sheet & Certificate (in the relevant stream and subject)
    • Master's Degree Certificate and Marksheet in the relevant subject with a minimum overall score of 55% (mandatory)
    • Migration, Character & Transfer Certificate issued by the last institution attended
    • No Objection Certificate from the current working organization is required for Part-Time candidates.
