These PhD programs imparts the skills and ability to do quality research. Research scholars are expected to publish their work in reputed journals and conferences. Research in the School of Computing is actively pursued through various groups and their labs through internal and external projects that convene enthusiastic experts across specialized areas to explore new intellectual frontiers and address solutions to important societal problems.
Eligibility
Minimum 55% marks or CGPA not less than 6 on scale of 10 in regular Master Degree (Not distance or any other mode) of a University or equivalent for PhD in Engineering /Technology in respective branch.
GATE/NET qualified students shall be preferred.
Academic Requirements for completing the PhD degree
Following is the list of stages a PhD Scholar is required to complete for award of the degree:

Complete course work as suggested by Guide & the Research and Development Committee (RDC), as per DITU norms.

Research proposal presentation and approval of topic of research from RDC.

Research progress presentation semester wise in front of RDC with minimum satisfactory grade.

Publication of required number of research paper in reputed SCE/SCOPUS/ESCI indexed journals.

Research work presentation for seeking permission to start writing of PhD theses.

Complete writing PhD theses with review and corrections from guide.

Thesis submission that is sent for evaluation in India and abroad.

Satisfactory reports of theses evaluation, and RDC approval for appearing in PhD final Viva.

Satisfactory grade from RDC and external experts in PhD Viva, followed by submission of hard bond PhD theses.
-
Award of PhD Degree.
