The B.A. Honours in psychology is a 4-year program designed to give a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and cognitive processes. The program gives a psychological perspective to students on human development, social processes, organizational behavior, psychological disorders and positive psychology. Students can also opt for minors in Economics/ English etc. They also get exposure on interdisciplinary areas of humanities, management and sciences. The curriculum is structured to develop their creativity, analytical skills and social awareness. Students are groomed by close faculty interaction, practical training, internships in organization and workshops by experts in the field.
The unique feature of this program is to develop a broad base of knowledge in the various domains of Psychology and fundamental knowledge in research methodology along with statistical methods in psychological research

B.A. Psychology enables students to explore and acquire strong theoretical knowledge of basic principles for understanding relevant areas of human concern. The course will help students to o identify, analyze areas of research and do independent advanced research in the field.
Synthesis and application of knowledge to specific areas of critical sensibility to live experiences with awareness of both self and society. The students will also learn to analyze, recognize and appreciate the ways in which writers use language to achieve a range of effects and be inspired to present an informed and personal response to materials they have studied. Moreover, they will learn to create a significant opportunity to provide research and consultancy facilities to the industries and society in general.
