Jai Prakash Agrawal joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering as an Assistant Professor in June, 2016. Agrawal received his MTech in Production & Industrial Systems Engineering from IIT Roorkee & B.Tech in Production Engineering from GBPUAT Pantnagar & pursuing his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from DIT University Dehradun. Agrawal has also done a certificate course in the area of Advanced CAD/CAM from Indo-Danish Tool Room, Jamshedpur. Agrawal interests Centre upon Industrial Engineering, Quality Management and Advanced Manufacturing Methods. Agrawal also has two years of industrial experience at BLA Industries Ltd. Mithapur, Distt. Jamnagar, Gujrat, which is a vendor of TATA Chemicals Ltd. He has worked on many industrial problems at BLA Industries Ltd. He has also obtained a toppers certificate in a NPTEL Course "Processing of Polymers and Polymer Matrix Composites".
