Mr. Gopal Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Department of Petroleum and Energy Studies at School of Engineering and Technology, DIT University, Dehradun, India. He is pursuing PhD in Petroleum Engineering from DIT University, Dehradun, India. He holds M.Tech degree in Petroleum Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, India and B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India. He has worked as an Assistant Professor in University College of Engineering, Rajastahan Technical University, Kota, Rajasthan, India, for one year. Currently, his research focuses on the Development of novel material from Waste for various engineering applications and development of foam fluid for hydraulic fracturing, drilling and enhanced oil recovery applications. He has published research articles in the journal of repute and presented his work at various national and international conferences. He is an active professional SPE member since 2017.Apart from this he is Faculty Advisor of DIT SPE Student Chapter Since 2017 and working as an Innovation Ambassador under the Centre of Innovation, Incubation Entrepreneurship & Start up (CIIES).
