Dr.Biplab Dhar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics. He did his M.Sc and Ph.D in Mathematics from NIT Silchar. His Ph.D thesis is focused on Mathematical Modeling of Tumor-Immune System with targeted Chemotherapeutic Drug. His research interest centers upon Mathematical Modeling of Biological Problems, Autonomous Dynamical Systems, and Fractional Modeling of Infectious Diseases. He is a ranker in GATE-MA, and has also been awarded with best paper Award during first International Conference on Innovation in Modern Science and Technology. Dr.Biplab has successfully managed to get published in reputed journals indexed in WILEY, SCIE, SCOPUS and SPRINGER. He is a Life Member of Assam Academy of Mathematics (AAM), which centres upon teaching Mathematics Olympiad aspirants. He has been Mathematics counselor for Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Guwahati, Assam for the year 2020-21. During his Ph.D tenure, He joined Annual Foundation School (AFS)-II organised by National Center of Mathematics and TIFR. He has pursued Higher Diploma course in Software Engineering at NIIT, Silchar. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Mathematics under School of Applied Sciences at University of Science and Technology Meghalaya, India
