  • Brief Profile

Dr. Samta Manori joined the Department of Physics at DIT University as an Assistant Professor in June 2016. She received her PhD in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2016, and M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Electronics and B.Sc (Hons) Physics from University of Delhi. She also holds a degree in M.Tech (Instrumentation) from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra. She has qualified CSIR-UGC NET in 2010 and GATE in 2008 and 2010. Her research interests involves the study of various phenomena of magnetism like exchange bias, spin glasses, disorders in nanostructures, interfacial coupling at nanoscale in thin films and nanoparticles. Presently, she is working on the development of thin films of double perovskite materials for applications in Solid Oxide fuel Cells. She is also been involved in a collaborative work on hydrogen sensors and optical coatings. Her research findings have applications in the field of spin valves and memory devices, sensors, actuators and many more.
