Ms. Sumita Lamba is an Assistant Professor in School of Computing at DIT University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering in the area of Deep Learning and signal processing in healthcare. She has earned her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Hons.) and B.Tech in Information Technology from Uttarakhand Technical University, India in the year 2014 and 2012 respectively.
Her research interests are in various areas of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Digital Image Processing and Signal Processing under the domain of healthcare. She has authored and co-authored papers in refereed journals and international conferences. She has received the “Best Young Researcher-Female” at GECL Award-2021.
Prior to joining DIT University, Ms. Lamba has worked at various organizations in India and has more than 9 years of experience in the field of teaching and education. She has been the Department Coordinator cum Program Leader, CSE-AIML at ABES-EC, Ghaziabad, Assistant Professor at AKGEC, Ghaziabad. Before that she has worked with Sharda University Agra Campus till 2021, Uttaranchal University till 2019 and DBGI.
