  • Brief Profile

    Dr. Shulanki Pal joined the Department of Civil Engineering as an Assistant Professor in March 2023. Dr. Pal received her PhD in Civil Engineering from NIT Silchar, and M.Tech degree in Structural Engineering and B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from NIT Agartala. Her interests center upon Dynamic Response Mitigation, Structural health safety, Retrofitting and Rehabilitation of Structure. Dr. Pal has published several number of papers in various reputed Journals. She is the winner of the Best Paper Award at ICRDSI ’19 for paper “Comparison of effectiveness of TLCBD over LCVA in vibration control of structure under non-stationary earthquake”; her conference papers have been published in the Proceedings of ICRDSI ’19, Proceedings of ASMA ‘21, and Proceedings of ACMS ’18, with springer publication. Aided to the above she is also a certified Breath and Meditation teacher and volunteer for several social awareness and Youth empowerment courses.
