Divya Lohani

Brief Profile

Dr. Divya Lohani is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing, at DIT University, Dehradun. She earned her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad; M.Tech from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi; and B.Tech from UP Technical University, Lucknow.

Her research interests and experience span a wide range of topics in Internet of Things, Cyber-Physical Systems and Smart Environments, Intelligent Transportation System Technologies, Drone Technologies, and UAV Networks. Her work has been published in some of the leading journals and conferences like IEEE IoT Journal, IEEE Sensors, IEEE SAS, IEEE MDM, and AAAI. She has completed a research grant funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. She has been instrumental in institution building by designing a modern curriculum, setting up labs with Industry funding and support, supervising Ph.D. scholars, and creating a top-quality research culture.

Before joining DIT University, she worked in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Shiv Nadar University, An Institution of Eminence, at the National Capital Region for nearly a decade, where she was involved in various aspects of academics, research, and industry-linked initiatives.
