Dr. Divya Lohani is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing, DIT University, Dehradun. She earned her Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad; M.Tech from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi; and B.Tech from UP Technical University, Lucknow.
Her research interests and experience span a wide range of topics in Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems, Context-Aware Sensing, Smart Environments, and Intelligent Vehicles. Her work has been published in some of the leading journals and conferences like IEEE IoT Journal, IEEE Sensors, IEEE SAS, IEEE MDM and AAAI. She has successfully completed a research grant funded by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. She has been instrumental in institution building by designing modern curriculum, setting up labs with Industry funding and support, supervise Ph.D. scholars, and create a top-quality research culture.
Prior to joining DIT University, she has worked in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Shiv Nadar University, An Institution of Eminence, at the National Capital Region for nearly a decade, where she has been involved in various aspects of academics, research and industry-linked initiatives.
