  • Brief Profile

    Ms. Dipika Keshri is a Geologist Professional from India. She was completed her Master in Science from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal, with distinction at the Applied Geology Department. Furthermore, she was completed her Master in Technology in Petroleum Exploration from the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad (India), with distinction at the Applied Geology Department. She has received a gold medal from the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, India, during her Master's. In addition, she is pursuing her PhD. from the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad (India) in the Applied Geology Department, collaborating with ISRO-IIRS, Dehradun.

    Her Master's research work was on "Studies on a Convolute Fold: A Strain Analysis Method from the Galudih and Ghatsila Region, North Singhbhum Fold Belt. In addition, she worked on 'Application of micropaleontology for determination of high organic carbon content Environment" in her research activities. During her Master’, she also Interned with ONGC & GSI. In her doctoral research, she studies "Vulnerability, landslide analysis in the Tathyur area, near the Aglar River, Uttarakhand, India." She is also working on Ground water-related Projects.

    She has been working in the academic industry for nine years at a renowned university in India. She has taught UG subjects like Engineering Geology, Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing, GIS, Surveying, Advanced Surveying, Building Materials & Construction, Construction Management, Soil Mechanics in Civil Engineering Department, and Applied Geology, Sedimentology, Formation Evaluation, Well Logging, Petroleum Exploration in Petroleum Engineering Department.

    Current Research interests include Landslide hazard and Risk analysis, Identification of Groundwater potential zone through Remote sensing.
