Prabhjot Singh Manocha joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering as an Assistant Professor in December 2023. Prabhjot is pursuing his Doctorate in the field of Computer Science and Engineering and his current area of study focuses on Block Chain and Deep Learning for Internet of Things devices. He holds the Master of Technology in Computer Science and has over 6 years of teaching, cooperate and research experience in various fields of data science, data analytics, networking and machine learning. He has delivered various courses and developed curriculum in data science, networking and machine learning domains and has experience in classroom-based as well as online teaching methodologies. He has specifically taught subjects such as Data Analytics, Data Structures, Computer Networks, Machine Learning, Database management system, and Operating system at PG and UG levels. He is proficient in Programming languages, and various tools such as Python, SAS, MySQL, R Programming, Tableau, and VBA Programming.
As an active researcher, he has published several articles in reputed national and international journals. As an active working professional, he has worked on various projects related to Data Wrangling, Customer Review Analysis using Python, feature engineering, sentiment analysis and churn prediction.
