Dr. Ananda Babu is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology, DIT University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India from May 2025. He holds a Ph.D. from VIT, Vellore, and received his B.E. from the CEG, Guindy, Chennai, and M.E. from PSG Tech, Coimbatore. He began his career at VIT, Vellore, serving for 7.5 years, followed by another 7.5 years at Sharda University, Greater Noida. He served as HoD and a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in Sharda University. Dr. Babu has published more than 50 research papers in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals and authored three specialized monographs. He has successfully completed a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST-funded project worth INR 24.18 lakh and served as Co-Principal Investigator for an ARDB-DRDO-funded collaborative project with VIT, Vellore, valued at INR 15.6 lakh during his tenure at Sharda University, Greater Noida.
