Scheme under Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission

Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission (UKSDM) is an ambitious project under the Prime Minister Skill Development Mission Scheme. The programme is operated under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. CIIES, DIT University is approved for running Pharmacy Assistant Program in association with DITU Faculty of Pharmacy for providing Skill Certification.

The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth with under developed background in vicinity of DIT University to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. The programme is taken as part of Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative by DIT University.

Academic Collaboration with Foundation of Healthcare Technologies and Society

The DIT University Faculty of Pharmacy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Foundation of Healthcare Technologies and Society (FHTS) and India glycols Ltd. FHTS aims to translate research into practice through use of technology based solutions that can empower individuals and the environment where they live in for the well being of themselves, their families and the communities.

Industrial Collaboration with India glycol Ltd.

India glycol Ltd. manufactures bulk drugs and speciality chemicals which include natural products and neutraceuticals. The collaboration provides industry applied research and translation of academic research into commercially viable solutions.

DIT University signed MoU with Tirupati Medicare Limited a technologically advanced formulation manufacturer based in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh for collaborative research, training and placement of students. Collaborative organization of scientific and technical events is also promoted through this MoU.

Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences "Deemed to be University", Karad – Maharashtra has been started in 2017 with the aim to provide the quality education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and empower the quality pharmacist so that they serve the society to develop lifesaving drugs and formulations. MoU is signed on 26th August,2020 with an objective to facilitate students and faculty exchange program. Also to collaboratively organize scientific events, conduct collaborative research and take up joint funded research projects and consultancy works.

Research Collaboration with Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Germany

An agreement is signed between DIT University, Dehradun and Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Germany to take up a research project 'Key Biomarkers Differentially Expressed by Cumulus and Mural Cells in PCOS Patients' for one year period. The funded study is ongoing in faculty of pharmacy under the direct supervision of Dr. Havagiray R. Chitme. Mr. Pankaj Pant is registered for PhD under this project.
