FUNCTIONS OF RESEARCH ADVISORY BOARD

 

  1. Being an integral part of the University, the board is responsible for the smooth conduction of research oriented activities.
  2. Highlighting the emerging technologies of various domains for efficient and productive research.
  3. Review proposed research and extension projects on an annual cycle, including off-cycle requests.
  4. Provide recommendations on proposed projects and Centre resources.
  5. Research board constantly look for new areas to shed light on and bring to the attention of the academic community, with a focus on rigor, relevance, and actionable implications.
  6. To create a conducive environment for promotion of Research & Innovation activities in the institute.
  7. To encourage faculty members to apply for Major, Minor Research Projects, Incubation, Design and innovation Centres.
  8. To ensure smooth functioning and effective Management of Research & Innovation activities at the institute.
  9. To promote collaborative and Trans disciplinary research.
  10. To strengthen industry–institute interaction by promoting consultancy, testing and need based research & innovation activities in the institute.
