Brief Profile

Vaishnavi Priya joined the Department of Design 3 January 2025.

She is an innovative and experienced UI/UX designer with a strong academic foundation and professional expertise in design. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor, she teaches across multiple design departments, contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She holds a Master of Design in Experience Design from NIFT New Delhi, where she developed a strong grounding in user research, interaction design, information architecture, and digital experience strategy.

With a learner-centric teaching philosophy, she is deeply committed to mentoring students and nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Her academic interests include user-centered design, design thinking, usability studies, and emerging digital technologies. She actively integrates industry practices, hands-on projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration into her teaching methodology to prepare students for real-world design challenges.

Passionate about design education and innovation, she strives to inspire design excellence, encourage experimentation, and create impactful solutions that are socially relevant, technologically sound, and aesthetically compelling.
