    Prateek Vishwakarma is an Assistant Professor (UX/UI Design) at DIT University, Dehradun, with a robust interdisciplinary foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design (M.Des.), supported by extensive industry and academic experience. His professional practice spans product design, manufacturing systems, prototyping, furniture and medical equipment design, and digital experience design, enabling a seamless integration of physical systems with digital interfaces.

    His academic and research interests focus on the convergence of engineering-led design, UX research, interaction design, and emerging technologies such as AI-driven interfaces, IoT-enabled products, data-informed user experiences, and intelligent systems. He actively explores how technology, cognition, and user behavior shape meaningful product and service experiences. Through studio-led pedagogy and research-informed instruction, he is committed to developing future-ready designers capable of designing scalable, intelligent, and human-centered solutions for complex real-world contexts.
