    Charu Gupta is an Assistant Professor based in Dehradun, India, with a strong academic and creative background in design, research, and education. Passionate about blending innovation with tradition, she specializes in handicraft interior products, sustainable design practices, and UX/UI education.

    Charu actively works on making classrooms more engaging through design thinking, hands-on learning, and creative pedagogy. She encourages future-ready learning by incorporating digital tools, data literacy, and student-cantered projects into her teaching.

    Her research on circular design using carpet fibre waste showcases her commitment to sustainability, while her entrepreneurial interests focus on natural-dyed textiles, upcycled handicrafts, and zero-waste design.
