  • Brief Profile

    Vartica Saxena, is an energetic Architect Professor who utilizes a very interactive approach to teach the art of architecture. She is adept at developing comprehensive lesson plans whilst working directly with students on improving their grades and creating unique projects that allow students to enhance and show off their skills.

    Her teaching has been shaped by her research interests as well as the knowledge gained from practical experiences on site. In all her classes, she incorporates criticism, visual culture and encourages extensive student discussion of each text. She strongly believes in the value of in-depth analysis of particular sources as a means of understanding the complex. For this she always promotes and ignites inquisitiveness amongst the students so that they can widen their horizon and turn into entrepreneurs.

    Throughout her academic and professional tenure of more than 22 years, she demonstrated great perseverance and initiative. Not only was she interested in and motivated to learn the material, but she also put in a great deal of effort into assimilating it to her own experience and developing her ideas every time she took a new course or project on board.
