    Dr. Ritu Tomar, an esteemed Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy at DIT University, has been a significant addition to the institution since her appointment on March 3, 2021. With an impressive 15 years of teaching experience, she has cultivated a rich academic and research career.

    Dr. Tomar's research interests lie in the extraction and standardization of crude drugs, herbal formulation, and green nanotechnology, a niche yet crucial area in pharmaceutical sciences. Her contributions to research have been recognized with the prestigious Research Excellence Award from DIT University in 2021.

    She has a prolific publication record, having authored over 18 review and research papers in well-regarded, SCI-indexed journals. In addition to her publications, Dr. Tomar has made significant contributions to intellectual property with eleven patents to her name and has also written three book chapters, demonstrating her comprehensive expertise and commitment to advancing pharmaceutical knowledge.

    Dr. Tomar’s on teachers day have been awarded by Best Teachers Award-2025 from DIT University, Dehradun.
