    Dr. Pankaj Pant holds a B. Pharm and an M. Pharm in Pharmacology from Uttarakhand Technical University and completed his Ph.D. at DIT University, Dehradun, supported by grants from Bayer Pharmaceutical, Germany. His Ph.D. research, titled "Key Markers Differentially Expressed in Cumulus and Mural Cells of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Patients," was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Havagiray Chitme, a renowned researcher and academician in the field of pharmacy.

    Dr. Pant excelled academically, securing an impressive All-India Rank of 2189 in the GPAT in 2017. His primary research interests focus on the clinical aspects of metabolic syndrome, particularly polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). He has mentored both master's and bachelor's students in their dissertation research projects and has actively contributed to international and university-funded research initiatives.

    Dr. Pant is engaged in diverse in vitro and preclinical investigations, including studies on cancer, behavioral sciences, diabetes, neuroendocrinology, and genome-wide association studies (GWAS). His research extends to the field of proteomics, involving detailed analyses of clinical specimens.

    He is a lifetime member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), the Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS), and the Society of Young Biomedical Scientists (SYBS), India.

    Beyond research, Dr. Pant is actively involved in institutional and outreach activities, industrial training programs, and the management of the Molecular Pharmacology Laboratory. His impactful contributions are evident through his published research papers and patents, reflecting his dedication to advancing the field of pharmacology.
