  • Brief Profile

Akshay Bhatnagar joined the Department of Pharmacy as a Lecturer in February 2026. Bhatnagar is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmacology at DIT University and completed an M.Pharm in Pharmacology from the same institution. Bhatnagar’s research interests center on experimental and pre-clinical pharmacology, particularly the pharmacological screening and mechanistic evaluation of natural products and phytochemicals. Current research integrates in-vivo disease models with network pharmacology approaches, including target prediction, protein–protein interaction analysis, and functional and KEGG pathway enrichment studies, to investigate the therapeutic potential of compounds such as p-Coumaric acid in peptic ulcer disease.
