    Dr. Barkha Khurana is an accomplished academic leader with over 18 years of experience in academics and research. She earned her Ph.D. in Physiotherapy and Healthcare Management from Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University, Jaipur, in 2020. Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence applications in healthcare, particularly in Neuroinformatics and Neuropathic Pain. She has also led a machine learning–based capstone project for detecting the severity of diabetic retinopathy using fundus images. Dr. Khurana has edited 13 books and published 18 research papers in reputed journals. Her dedication to innovation and quality education has earned her five awards for excellence in academics and research. She has been the Head of AI & Neuroinformatics in Neuronet, a Health-Tech in Italy.

    She has been a Resource Person for the AICTE-sponsored FDP on AI in Healthcare and a speaker at various national and international conferences. She has also attended FDPs on Digital Imaging and Artificial Intelligence, sponsored by IIT Guwahati, IIT Jodhpur and IIT, Roorkee.

    With expertise in curriculum design and Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Dr. Khurana continues to advance interdisciplinary learning and research excellence in healthcare education.
