  • About Program

    The B.Tech program in Mechanical engineering with specialisation in Automobile Engineering deals with the study of various engines and their construction, electrical systems, alternate fuels, safety, economics and quality of an automobile. For a better learning experience, students are exposed to case studies and problem-based learning, brainstorming, written tests, computer simulation, group discussions, industrial training seminars and projects. This program B.Tech ME (Automobile Engineering) is conducted by DIT University, Dehradun to develop a new breed of engineers required for the ever expanding automotive industry. We thrive to improve the technical and professional skills of the students through various teaching methods, hands on and out of class education. We give more stress to project based learning that integrates research, education and outreach.

Duration & Eligibility

BTech – 4 Years

Minimum 50% marks in X Std. & aggregate 50% marks in XII Std. and minimum 60% in Physics Chemistry Math English/Physics Math Bio English/Physics Math English Computer.
