    B. Pharm (Practice) is a bridge course which provides additional qualifications and graduate degree to the Diploma registered and working pharmacists. It provides a platform for Diploma graduates working in community and hospital pharmacies to enhance the professional skills, knowledge and advanced specialty in the field of pharmacy. It also provides opportunity for students to undertake advanced research studies and qualifications in the pharmacy practice areas. They will upgrade their qualification by continuing their study in weekends.

Pharm (Pharmacy Practice) is designed at par with global requirements to address the needs of consumer-patient needs. This course B Pharm (Pharmacy Practice) would provide the expertise to become a patient advisor giving direction on medication.

Graduation also opens up the chances for further studies at Master’s and Doctoral studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

B Pharm – 2 Years with each year spread over a period of not less than 180 working days.


Minimum 50% marks in Diploma in Pharmacy with four years work Experiences.

Admission Procedure

A candidate seeking admission to B. Pharm (Practice) course is required to submit self-attested copies of the following documents:
  1. 1. Pass certificate of D. Pharm course from an institution approved u/s 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  2. 2. Valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate
  3. 3. Certificate of minimum four years of pharmacy practice experience in a Community or Hospital Pharmacy
  4. 4. A certificate from the Principal/ Medical Superintendent/ competent person of the Hospital/ Health Unit stating that the candidate is working as a pharmacist will be accepted as proof of practice experience in case of hospital pharmacist
  5. 5. A “No Objection Certificate” from the employer in prescribed format
