Lecture Brief:
Faculty of Architecture and Design (FoAD) at DIT University, Dehradun got an opportunity to invite Prof. Snehal Shah, (an eminent Architect and Urban Designer), to conduct a lecture and interact with the students of Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) to enlighten them about the role of history in shaping the Contemporary Architecture. In this reference, he also propagated the works of Padma Bhushan Shree (Late) M.A. Dhaky and architectural and art historian from Gujarat. His works have been compiled in a book by the name of “Footprints of Visvakarma”.
It was an eye opener both for the faculty members as well as the students of FoAD.
