Associate Professor and Head

Dr Hemraj Verma is currently working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department in Faculty of Management Studies, DIT University, Dehradun. He did his PhD in Marketing area from FMS, GKV, Haridwar in 2011 and is UGC NET qualified. He has done MBA (Marketing) from CCSU Meerut and BBA H.P. University, Shimla. He has got experience of almost two decades in academics and Industry. During four months of FDP at IIM Ahmedabad in 2010, he has been especially trained in case based method of teaching-learning. He is well versed with the nuances of carrying out effective social sciences research using technologies such as SPSS, AMOS, PROCESS, R, EViews etc. He has been taking FDPs regularly on topics related to research methods and advanced data analysis techniques.

He has successfully guided one PhD thesis and supervising three other PhD scholars in branding domain. He has authored a book on Marketing Management, published several papers in SSCI and Scopus indexed journals of national and international repute. His current research interest areas include Branding, Online buying behavior, Digital Marketing and Business Analytics.
