  • Brief Profile

    Dr. Amit K. Keshari, M. Pharm., Ph.D. is currently working as Assistant Professor at Faculty of Pharmacy, DIT University, Dehradun. He received his PhD from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Lucknow in 2018 under the supervision of Dr. Sudipta Saha, where he was involved in the research focused on the discovery of novel molecules for the treatment of hepatic cancer. He has done his M. Pharm. from Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology (BBDNIIT), Lucknow in 2013 under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Shailendra K. Saraf. Prior to join DIT University, he has also worked with RAMA University, Kanpur and Galgotias University, Greater NOIDA.

    He has one granted Indian patent entitled “5H-benzo[h]thiazolo[2,3-b]quinazolines containing nitrogen bridgehead as an anti-hepatocellular carcinogenic agent” and published four papers in peer-reviewed International journals from his PhD thesis. Additionally, he has also actively contributed in various International peer-reviewed journal publications, Book Chapters. He is among the Inventor’s list of another nine filed Indian patents including one international (Australian) patent.
