Dr. Deeksha Pant is an Assistant Professor in the School of Liberal Arts and Management at DIT University, Dehradun. She holds a PhD in English with a research specialization in Ecofeminism, Postcolonial Literature, Tribal Women, and Green Studies. Her scholarly interests explore the interconnectedness of gender, environment, and marginality, particularly through the lens of indigenous women’s narratives and ecological resistance.
She teaches a diverse range of subjects including Literary Theory and Criticism, Postcolonial Literature, Women’s Writing, and Environmental Literature. Her pedagogical approach emphasizes interdisciplinary engagement, encouraging students to critically examine literature in relation to ecological and socio-political contexts.
Dr. Pant has contributed to national and international academic discourse through her research and publications, focusing on environmental humanities and postcolonial ecocriticism. Her ongoing work aims to amplify the voices and wisdom of tribal and indigenous communities within literary and cultural studies.
