    DIT University was founded by Late Shri Naveen Agarwalji, the founder of the Unison Group. Dehradun Institute of Technology, is a private university on Dehradun to Mussoorie Road, established by the non-profit Unison Group. DIT University has been established by Govt. of Uttarakhand vide Act No.10 of 2013 dated 15 February 2013 and is recognized by the UGC under section 2(F) of the UGC Act, 1956. Founded in 1998. Since from inception committed for quality education to the budding professionals and produced 15000+ vibrant alumni to the global society. Faculty of pharmacy was started in 2005.



    The Faculty of Pharmacy was established in 2005 and recognized by the Govt. of Uttarakhand & approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. It is offering job oriented DPharm, BPharm, BPharm (Pharmacy Practice), MPharm (Pharmaceutics) and PhD programs. Faculty has been a front runner in the field of pharmacy education to offer in the state. The Department has highly qualified, experienced and research-oriented faculty who ignite inbuilt abilities & potentialities in students and prepare highly competent Pharmacists who can serve in different responsible positions globally.



    Dehradun is the capital of young Uttarakhand the state known as Devbhoomi located on the back drop of Mussoorie. The place is very well connected by air, train and road. The renowned Doon school, Welhams Girl’s school, Forest Research Institute, DRDO, Unison World School and many more institutes makes it as an excellent centre for education. The Char Dham Yatra, Hrishikesh, Haridwar, Mussorrie, Nainital are nearby places must be seen in life time. The local site seeing such as Tapkeshwar Mandir, Robber’s cave, Mansi Deer Park, Kempty fall, Sahasradhara, and many more makes the place attractive for all age groups. The proposed APTI conference is going to be organized for the first time in Uttarakhand with the objective to improve quality of pharmacy education system in education capital of India. It will help in adopting newer approaches in pharmaceutical education based on technologies, which will further enhance the health care system in India. The conference will not only emphasize, but also promote Dehradun and Uttarakhand as one of the major hub for pharmaceutical education, research and industries. It will also highlight opportunities and prospects available for investments in the field of pharmaceutical education technologies in India.



    APTI Convention is an annual conglomeration in India bringing together the pharmacy educators, industries, professional practitioners and leaders in pharmacy profession. At the convention, participants will have an unprecedented opportunity to meet face-to-face with pharmacy scientists, academicians, practitioners, pharmacy assistants, CRO, pharmaceutical manufacturing, Quality control and pharmaceutical marketing representatives working in various sections of pharmacy. The conference provides variety of continuing professional education sessions including plenary lectures, workshops, poster & oral presentations, symposium and discussion which will assist in building a future pharmacy curriculum for both UG and PG. APTI Convention scheduled for October 2019 at the University Campus in Dehradun will be focusing on novel approaches in designing industry ready curriculum.  The thrust areas of the conference are Drug Delivery Systems, Pharmacology, Therapeutics, Pathophysiology, Toxicology, Pharmacy practice, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacokinetics, Biopharmaceutics, Patient safety, Patient Care, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, New drug discovery, Quality Assurance, Analysis, Medicinal chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry and other allied sciences.



    The targeted audience will be faculty of pharmaceutical sciences, professionals from government, private sector universities and colleges, hospitals, private sector hospitals, pharmacies, industries, Pharmaceutical Affairs, Drug Control, marketing and pharmaceutical entrepreneurs. We do invite research scholars and students from science, interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, medicine and allied health sciences to participate actively in the convention.



    Abstracts for oral and e-poster presentations are invited from the interested faculty, students, pharmacists, scientists, academicians, research scholars and researchers. Structured abstract containing TITLE, AIM, METHOD, RESULT and CONCLUSION along with duly filled in registration form shall be considered for presentation. An online submission will be made through the web link The abstract shall be restricted to 250 words. The abstracts submitted for consideration for presentation will be blindly reviewed and accepted based on their suitability and scientific content. The authors will be requested to quote the method of presentation (Oral/Poster) to facilitate the further process of reviewing. Quality research papers will be accepted for oral presentation based on their standard of content. Three papers adjudged as best in the oral and e-poster each category by an independent jury committee will be given Best Oral and E-Poster Presentation awards respectively in valedictory. Authors of these papers will have the opportunity to publish full-length articles in Indian Journal of Pharmaceutial Education and Research. It is advised to avoid submission of general articles and review articles for presentation.

    All abstracts selected for presentation will be published in proceedings of the conference as a special edition of APTI Bulletin.
