ABOUT FACULTY OF PHARMACY
The Faculty of Pharmacy was established in 2005 and recognized by the Govt. of Uttarakhand & approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. It is offering job oriented DPharm, BPharm, BPharm (Pharmacy Practice), MPharm (Pharmaceutics) and PhD programs. Faculty has been a front runner in the field of pharmacy education to offer in the state. The Department has highly qualified, experienced and research-oriented faculty who ignite inbuilt abilities & potentialities in students and prepare highly competent Pharmacists who can serve in different responsible positions globally.
SCIENTIFIC FOCUS AND SIGNIFICANCE
APTI Convention is an annual conglomeration in India bringing together the pharmacy educators, industries, professional practitioners and leaders in pharmacy profession. At the convention, participants will have an unprecedented opportunity to meet face-to-face with pharmacy scientists, academicians, practitioners, pharmacy assistants, CRO, pharmaceutical manufacturing, Quality control and pharmaceutical marketing representatives working in various sections of pharmacy. The conference provides variety of continuing professional education sessions including plenary lectures, workshops, poster & oral presentations, symposium and discussion which will assist in building a future pharmacy curriculum for both UG and PG. APTI Convention scheduled for October 2019 at the University Campus in Dehradun will be focusing on novel approaches in designing industry ready curriculum. The thrust areas of the conference are Drug Delivery Systems, Pharmacology, Therapeutics, Pathophysiology, Toxicology, Pharmacy practice, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacokinetics, Biopharmaceutics, Patient safety, Patient Care, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, New drug discovery, Quality Assurance, Analysis, Medicinal chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry and other allied sciences.
TARGETED AUDIENCE
The targeted audience will be faculty of pharmaceutical sciences, professionals from government, private sector universities and colleges, hospitals, private sector hospitals, pharmacies, industries, Pharmaceutical Affairs, Drug Control, marketing and pharmaceutical entrepreneurs. We do invite research scholars and students from science, interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, medicine and allied health sciences to participate actively in the convention.
CALL FOR ORAL / E-POSTER PRESENTATION
Abstracts for oral and e-poster presentations are invited from the interested faculty, students, pharmacists, scientists, academicians, research scholars and researchers. Structured abstract containing TITLE, AIM, METHOD, RESULT and CONCLUSION along with duly filled in registration form shall be considered for presentation. An online submission will be made through the web link www.apticon2019ditu.com. The abstract shall be restricted to 250 words. The abstracts submitted for consideration for presentation will be blindly reviewed and accepted based on their suitability and scientific content. The authors will be requested to quote the method of presentation (Oral/Poster) to facilitate the further process of reviewing. Quality research papers will be accepted for oral presentation based on their standard of content. Three papers adjudged as best in the oral and e-poster each category by an independent jury committee will be given Best Oral and E-Poster Presentation awards respectively in valedictory. Authors of these papers will have the opportunity to publish full-length articles in Indian Journal of Pharmaceutial Education and Research. It is advised to avoid submission of general articles and review articles for presentation.
All abstracts selected for presentation will be published in proceedings of the conference as a special edition of APTI Bulletin.
