Department of Petroleum & Energy Studies, DIT University in association with ONGC, CAIRN, Reliance Industries Ltd, Shell, SPE International & DEW organized 2 days’ workshop on ‘WELL INTEGRITY IN INDIAN CONTEXT’ from 12 to 13 October 2017 at DIT University Campus.

Workshop has been designed to maximize opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and learning for PE students and others from Industry. Having a sense of awareness for HSE, well integrity and well control is an essential attribute for a Petroleum engineer. With this two day workshop, we expect to generate the desired awareness amongst the students.
Further, given the low oil prices industry is currently facing, the operators are consistently seeking opportunities to reduce the net cost on operations. Cost cutting lead to compromise on serious issues like well integrity. This this workshop is aimed at reaffirming the desired level of awareness and responsibility amongst the operators.
